Thank  you  for  dropping  by  and  I  am  really  sorry  for  the  circumstance  you  are  in  currently.  As  it  is  likely  that  you  have  fell  for  a  popular  scam  by  Rashell  Ortiz  who  also  goes  by  Selene  Rodriguez  on  Poshmark,  Offer Up  and  other  sites. Here’s  the  easiest  way  to  describe  our  experiences  as  women  who  fell  for  this  scam.   We  find  designer  bags  for  what  we  think  is  a  bargain  as  this  scammer  shared  that  she  was  going  through  a  divorce  and  wanted  to  get  rid  of  all  her  husbands  gifts. She  offers  you  to  do  transactions  outside  of  poshmark  to  avoid  seller  fees  and  give  you  the  item  for  less.  Then  when  you  buy  one  she  asks  you  to  pay  through  paypal  friends,  Zelle,  or  Apple  Pay.  All  of  which  do  not  have  purchase  protection.  Once  you  pay  her  she  offers  you  more  bags  for  $150-$300  and  of  course  you  think  this  is  crazy and  you  take  it.  Well,  this  scammer  ends  up  saying  she  is  shipping  via  USPS  overnight  and  sends  you  a  screenshot  of  USPS  tracking  number  9205825490164825689357  which  says  “Label  Created,  not  yet  in  system“  then  tells  you  to  WAIT  for  it  to  update  to  give  her  time  to  withdrawal  your  money  the  next  business  day.  Ultimately  once you  find  out  this  is  a  scam,  she  blocks  you  because  she took  the  money.  Then  you  googled  her  number  315-254-1149  and  found  the  poshmark  thread  or  hopefully  this  website.  

Steps  to  Report  Rashell  Ortiz:

3.  File  a  Police  Report  with  local  PD  over  phone  &  get  a  report  number.

4.  Contact  your bank  IMMEDIATELY  and  provide  them  your  report  number  against  the  scammer  and  ask  them  to  reverse/suspend/freeze  the  funds.  Give  them  the  detective  information  to  validate  the  scam.
